James Andrew Eric Phelps and Oliver Martyn John Phelps were born on February 25, 1986, just thirteen minutes apart. They have always shown an interest in acting, performing in many school drama productions. They attended Arthur Terry School in Sutton Coldfield, England. In 2000, the twins attended open auditions for the characters of Fred and George Weasley in Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone, held in Leeds. They then were given the parts and have been acting as Fred and George in all five Harry Potter movies. Both James and Oliver enjoy concerts and music festivals, as well as attending football games and golf tournaments.
